Best Times of the Year to Cruise in Bermuda

People have been sailing to Bermuda for generations. It’s the perfect destination. All the marinas and berthing sites are convenient and getting around by land or water is easy. Not to mention wide array of services at a very affordable price. Some of the services include boat haulage, boat maintenance, yacht refinishing, bottom painting, rigging, repair, electrical assessments, electronics repair, haul repair, launching, and full shipwright services. You can feel confident leaving your yacht or boat for a night or even a week as you explore Bermuda on land.

There are 3 known areas for docking and berthing sites in Bermuda: Central Bermuda is where you can find the capital of the island, City of Hamilton; East End is where you can find the famous 3 parishes, which are also known to be the island’s key points on the east end (St. George’s Parish, Hamilton Parish and Smith’s Parish); and the West End, which is the island’s primary cruise ship port.

When is the best time to go to Bermuda?

If you’re on a budget, March and April are the best months to visit Bermuda. It is when the temperate weather becomes pleasant for beach bathing though not quite warm enough for swimming yet.

March and April are also the most festive times of the year in Bermuda. Easter is an important holiday where islanders go to Horseshoe Bay with beautiful handmade kites. It’s the most picture perfect event so make sure you bring your camera with you. And the prices aren't as high unlike the busiest season (which is May to October).

If you're more interested in golfing, plan your trip for the wintertime, which is from November to February. It’s when you'll get the greatest discount at the hotels, plus the islands aren't nearly as crowded. You can find accommodation for as low as $200 a night, which is definitely a steal.
